Since 2017, Kaitlyn has served numerous individuals dealing with many kinds of heavy, chaotic, and life-changing situations. Most of them are trauma survivors and professional helpers, like police officers and social workers. She strives to stay informed and ready to assist with whatever you may need to bring to your sessions, including training in research-based practices like EMDR. Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work from University of Cincinnati and her Master’s of Social Work from The Ohio State University. Kaitlyn has worked in homeless shelters, interpersonal violence shelters, hospitals, health clinics, homes, and via telehealth to meet individuals where they are physically and mentally. Personally, she is a dog mom x3 and married to an OSP Trooper.
Talking about bad experiences and pondering difficult questions is rarely considered fun. Kaitlyn gets that. She also knows that you aren't going to tell just anyone or everyone what you've experienced. She believes that the therapist you choose should help you feel comfortable and earn your trust. Kaitlyn understands that this thing we call life can be beyond difficult. Losses, accidents, people, you name it, are downright cruel at times, knocking you off your feet and leaving you clueless on how to move forward. The good news though, there are proven ways that therapy can help you determine how to move forward, understand your needs, become equipped should another crisis occur, and much more.
Each therapist brings unique specializations and approaches to serve our diverse client needs.
