Madeline Belden is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a variety of experience in the field; this includes children to adults in individual therapy, group therapy, and school settings. Most of Madeline’s time has been spent with college students in university settings working with a wide spectrum of struggles. These struggles have spanned from adjustment disorders to severe and persistent mental health struggles.
Madeline takes a person-centered approach in session with clients, tailoring each session to the client’s needs. Modalities Madeline typically works with include Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Non-Directive Play Therapy. Her goal is to offer a non-judgemental, supportive, and collaborative environment for clients and their families.
